Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) is a Government of Pakistan’s program under which different initiatives for socio-economic development are taken. BISP is currently running three different programs – Benazir Kafalat, Benazir Nashonuma and Benazir Taleemi Wazaif - under its umbrella.

What is Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program?
Benazir Taleemi Wazaif (scholarships) is a program of the Government of Pakistan under which quarterly stipend is provided to the children BISP eligible families who are currently enrolled in school or college in any district of the country.
What is the Eligibility Criteria for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program?
The eligibility criteria for enrolment Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program is as under,
- The child of active Benazir Kafalat Program beneficiaries (mother),
- The age criteria for enrolment at different levels is as under,

What are the documents required for Registration in Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program?
To register a child for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif, following documents are required,
- Children's B-Form issued by NADRA,
- Mother’s CNIC issued by NADRA,
- School admission slip containing information of class and school name verified by the schoolteacher.
What is the Registration Process for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program?
The registration procedure for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program is as under,
- Visit your nearest Benazir Tehsil Office (BTO) near you along with the child who needs to be registered,
- Provide B-Form of child and certified mobile number of head of household to the concerned officer at BTO,
- The officer will register the child and issue you an enrolment slip,
- Get the provided slips filled up by the child's school. Providing details of child's class, section، class teacher and principal’s particulars on the enrolment slip is mandatory.
- Submit the slip back in BTO.۔
- After the enrolment slip is verified, the quarterly stipend will be released.
What is the amount of the stipend under Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program?
The amount of stipend released every three months is as below,

A special bonus of Rs 3000 is given to girls on completion of primary education.
When is stipend for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program released after registration?
The stipend for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program is tied to 70% attendance of child at school. Once a child is registered in Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program, the program staff verifies their attendance at school after which their stipend is released. The process usually takes 3-4 months.
Benazir Income Support Program must also be informed in case of changing the child's school.
